The RNIB Digital Accessibility Team's website, Tiresias, offers knowledge and tools for researchers and designers of information and communication technology (ICT) systems, on designing accessible ICT and how it will benefit the general public, such that it is also accessible by those with sight problems and other disabilities.

Tiresias provides information on:

• the importance and benefits of ICT accessibility;

• numerous Research resources to help support primary research are available such as, details of ICT projects, ICT related standards and available ICT devices, an expansive list of Scientific and Technological reports and information on selecting partners for research projects;

• detailed Design guidelines offering advice and recommendations on ICT accessibility issues and

• a collection of Project tools to successfully complete accessible ICT research or design projects including, methodologies for evaluating accessibility.
