Activities: The main mission of the Association is to involve the
blind and partially sighted in the working process; to organise sports,
cultural and communal services; to take steps for prevention of blindness
and maintaining the residual sight of the disabled; to support the blind
in having access to education. The Armenian Association of the Blind is
a member of the European Blind Union and the World Blind Union which gives
us an opportunity to co-operate with the organizations of and for the
blind all over the world. It also has a Publishing House for Braille,
a musical group union, cultural centre and "Nairi" sanatorium
in Arzni.
