Activities: Founded in 2003 under the name of "Military Medical Treatment". The aim of this Directorate was to transform the cadres of military medical treatment from the ministry of defense to the ministry of health. The work of this Directorate has now developed especially after adding new missions to its work.
Cadres of military medical treatment annexed with the health ministry completely. This Directorate now supervises the departments of the ambulance service, emergency medicine, control of disaster operations, care of private categories such as the armed forces, handicapped persons, those who have special needs, health services in the prisons and the medical services at aviation sites and airports.

Activities: This Directorate was created with the Foundation of Health Ministry. It has a direct relationship with daily life of the individual. It exerts more efforts to achieve good health in the Society by supervision of food and medicine requirements. It acts to immunize citizens against epidemic diseases. It is also interested in preventive health, spreading health awareness in the whole country, creating a full health awareness either in schools or in work places and on the street through its cooperation with Directorates which belong to the health ministry or other government and non-governmental facilities.
