Foundation for the Blind in Thailand
Activities: In order to implement its goals, the Foundation has set up and operated various branches throughout the country: Bangkok School for the Blind, Skills Development Center for the Blind, Lighthouse for the Blind, Caulfield Memorial Library for the Blind and Sampran Rehabilitation and Training Center for Women.

Activities: The School's special programmes to be undertaken are as follows: to promote students
of junior high with good marks and ability to further their studies in higher education; to support
students who wish to continue their studies under the Ministry of Education's non-formal education
programme. The school would set up a taskforce vocational teaching and training on the use of computer,
English-Thai typewriter of advanced level, transferring recorded messages into written notes, telephone
operator, agriculture, singing and music etc.
