Activities: Katlyn's Hope, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded to assist in the education of deaf-blind children, birth to 21, through educational scholarships. The scholarships are to be used for intervenor consultation, in-home training, educational toys and materials, assistive devices such as hearing aids, glasses, conformers, and canes, and other educational necessities. Additionally, travel stipends will be given to families to help them travel to conferences and workshops where they will meet with others with deaf-blindness and learn more about coping with the special educational problems that arise from the disability.In addition to providing scholarships to deaf-blind children, Katlyn's Hope wants to serve as a support network for families touched by deaf-blindness. A long-term goal of the organization is to host learning vacations for families where they can network with others with deaf-blindness while leaning new educational strategies and methods.

Activities:The NTAC for Children and Young Adults Who Are Deafblind is a federally funded
project that aims to improve the quality of early intervention, education and transition services to children and young adults who are deaf-blind.
This is accomplished by providing technical assistance on effective practice and promoting collaborative partnerships for meeting the unique and diverse needs of children and young adults who are deaf-blind and their families.
NTAC combines the resources, expertise, and experience
of two major organizations: Teaching Research and The Helen Keller National Center.
NTAC publishes a variety of materials as a result of its ongoing technical assistance activities.
