Screen Reading Software
A screen reading program will read text on the screen and output it as
speech via a speech synthesiser or sound card. Modern screen readers have
been developed to interpret graphical user interfaces.
Screen reading software can be purchased separately or bought bundled together with the speech synthesiser and other hardware. You are advised to check with vendors for compatibility before purchasing the hardware and/or software.
