There are tactual markings to differentiate cards by touch
The card incorporates a standard notch for orientation
The card protrudes at least 2cm for easy withdrawal
The reader is easy and lightweight to carry
There is a funnel opening to help guide the card into the reader
There is a large display
The display is high contrast with larger characters (or speech output)
A telephone layout is used for numeric buttons
There is a raised dot on the number 5
The reader has large buttons which have clear visual markings
The buttons are raised or recessed
The buttons are well spaced
Enough time is allowed for transactions
The user is informed as to why the transaction has not been accepted
There is an easy facility to correct input errors
Instructions for useage are available in alternative formats
Training is provided for consumers requiring it
