Concluding remarks
by Dr. John Gill
Thank you very much Tony. I think we have to bring that session to a close and move on to my own concluding remarks.
First of all I have to make an apology that Braille version of the delegates list was not available for you in time today, it was an error but if you want a copy of it please leave your name at the registration desk and it will be sent out in the next couple of days.
The proceedings of today will be on the PhoneAbility website in fully accessible HTML. This will be derived from the Palantype output, which is one way of doing things. I would like to thank both the Palantype and the BSL interpreters for their work today and I would also like to thank the speakers for their rather stimulating and interesting presentations.
We have been particularly grateful for the help of all the supporting organisations in publicising this event to their members. In particular, for all his efforts in publicising and organising this event, Ron Kirby has been a fantastic help.
I would also like to thank the Institution of Engineering and Technology for very kindly hosting this event, their staff have worked very hard in particular Simon Blows and Anna Clover have devoted a lot of effort into getting this event off the ground.
Finally I would like to thank all of you for participating in this seminar. Could you please complete the feedback questionnaire which will be sent to you by email tomorrow. So thank you very much, and I hope you have a safe journey home. And we're finishing about one minute ahead of schedule! Thank you. {Applause}
