Scope: The King's Fund is an independent charitable foundation working for better health, especially in London. The Fund carry out research, policy analysis and development activities, working on independently, in partnerships, and through funding.
Types of awards available: Partners for Health in London is the King's Fund's new funding programme and replaces the small and development grants.
Funding of around £1 million each year will be shared between four specific areas of work: Projects based on delivering a service in one of the following health areas:
end-of-life care, mental health advocacy or sexual health for black and minority ethnic communities; Research projects only, in the area of:
integrated health.
Restrictions: Organisations applying for funding must be a not-for-profit or statutory agency with an annual income of £150,000. The majority of the applying organisation's service users need to be based in London.
Submission of applications:
There are two funding rounds each year. Applications forms can be downloaded or completed online depending on the research project strand being applied for.
