Interests

Dr. Tony Elliman's work is primarily concerned with the development and evaluation of information systems to support high level professional activities. One aspect of this is to understand the various Stakeholders' views of the world, the buisness context and the decision making processes the system must support. The other aspect is the evaluation of information systems and their impact on the organisation and its business processes. In this part of his work he has worked in the Centre for Applied Simulation Modelling to develop and use business process simulation models as a means to better understand these dynamics.
