Interests

Bryan Gould is the Project Manager of NCAM's Effective Practices for Describing Science Content within Digital Talking Books project. He has been with WGBH's Descriptive Video Service (DVS) for nine years and has developed audio descriptions for hundreds of TV shows, films and other projects. He edited the current DVS style guidelines and served as DVS's Operations Manger. He continues to participate in focus groups with blind and visually impaired consumers and to train new describers. He holds a B.A. from Syracuse University and an M.A. from the University of Massachusetts, both in American History.
