Description: The project is investigating an email based translation service capable of translating email attachments to and from contracted Braille and to synthetic speech. Work has already been done by a Danish company to establish how such a service would work. Users submit documents, including text files, Word documents and HTML pages, as email attachments. The translated results are returned via email, typically within a matter of minutes.
